Education reform - Hamburg calls for a referendum on its schools

On Sunday, the decision will be taken. Hamburg will go to the polls to decide whether to leave the old primary school system in place, or completely revise it.

The CDU/Greens senate are trying to push through the reform, but middle-class parents don't want to let go of the old system. The dispute has split the town into two camps. It's a classic German dispute on education reform.
