Eleven people were injured, one seriously, in an accident on the set of the Tom Cruise World War II movie "Valkyrie," currently filming in Berlin.

On Sunday evening, while filming on location in Berlin, eleven people fell off the back of a truck when it lost a side panel going around a curve. One person was seriously injured and had to stay in the hospital.

"We have no findings to suggest anyone famous was involved in the accident," a police spokesman told Reuters news service, adding he did not know whether it would affect the shoot this week.

Filming was halted, and the truck is being examined for technical problems. Representatives from the production haven't yet said when filming will resume.

Cruise and his family -- wife Katie Holmes and baby daughter Suri -- have been the center of press attention during their stay in Berlin, where the World War II drama about an attempt on the life of Adolf Hitler, is being filmed.

In "Valkyrie," Cruise plays Claus Graf Schenk von Stauffenberg, a Nazi sympathizer-turned resistance fighter whose 1944 bomb plot against Hitler failed to reach its mark. Hitler was only injured in the attempt, but von Stauffenberg and three of his associates were shot when they were found out.
