Erdsiek-Rave, Ute

Ute Erdsiek-Rave chairs the German Commission for UNESCO's expert committee on "Inclusive Education". From 2005 to 2009 she was the Minister for Education and Women and Deputy Prime Minister of the state of Schleswig-Holstein in Germany. Previously, she was president of the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein, chairwoman of the Social Democratic group of parliamentarians in the state parliament, Minister for Education, Science, Research and Culture in Schleswig-Holstein as well as commissioner of the Federal Council of Germany in the Council of Educational Ministers of the European Union.
