For music enthusiasts, Zwickau is the city where the German composer, pianist, and influential music critic Robert Schumann was born. We watched a production of Genoveva performed in the famous Gewandhaus celebrating the 200th anniversary of his birth this year and then went for a walk through the city following the paths of Schumann, one of the most famous and important Romantic composers of the 19th century.
