French fashion designer Jean Claude Jitrois became famous for his invention callled stretch leather. Now he designs skin tight clothing for pop stars like  Beyoncé, Rihanna and Lady Gaga.

Europe’s Highest Suspnsion Bridge

Europe's highest suspension bridge opened in the Swiss Alps last December.  The civil engineer and bridge architect Roger Waser is the brains behind this 100 metre long walkway called Titlis Cliff Walkand. The 4th high altitude project in Switzerland it was definitely his most challenging.

Internet Publications

Electronic books are becoming increasingly popular these days. That means it is the public who often decides whether a new book is worth reading or not and not the publishing houses. Berlin author Nika Lubitsch had her thriller turned down by a publishing house back in 1999. But undeterred, she released it online last year and within five days it became a bestseller.

British Telephone Boxes

Around the millennium there were tens of thousands of public telephone boxes on the streets of Britain, but now that number has decreased to around eleven thousand. They remain a national symbol and several people across the country are helping to keep their memory alive.

Tattoos

An increasing number of people are calling upon artists to design their tattoos. They range from classical art nouveau to the works of children. We explore this new trend in body art on the streets of Berlin.
