The British Sculptor Antony Gormley
On October 16 Antony Gormley received the Prämium Imperiale for sculpture in Tokyo. The award is seen as the Nobel Prize of the art world. The British artist is known for his focus on the human body and experimenting with different materials such as steel.

The Documentary Film “The Highest Level”
A music documentary co-produced by DW called “The Highest Level” premiered in Berlin. It features the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra with conductor Sir Simon Rattle and Chinese superstar pianist Lang Lang who all teamed up to record music by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev and Hungarian composer Béla Bartók. We report from the premiere in Berlin.

Heidi Zimmermann is Norway's only certified female glacier guide. She's a native of Switzerland and loves the mountains, but glaciers are her specialty -- especially the Jostedal glacier.
