In this highlights edition:

German Unity Brings New Opportunities
As Germany celebrates the twentieth anniversary of reunification we meet three Germans whose career success owes a lot to that event: Photographer Daniel Biskup, museum director Martin Roth and fashion designer Sylvia Heise.

Speciality Beer From Sylt
In this report we look at Sylter Hopfen beer which is brewed with sparkling wine yeast, aged in sparkling wine bottles and stoppered with sparkling wine type corks. Jens Boysen and brewer Thomas Kipka sell their special brew for around 20 euros a bottle. Wine dealers and speciality shops as far afield as Tokyo buy up some 3000 bottles a month.

Portuguese Artist Joana Vasconcelos
Vasconcelos first started attracting attention at the Venice Biennale in 2005. Her stunning sculptures often involve crochet and macrame.

City Portrait Chemnitz
The former Karl Marx Stadt has sought to reinvent itself since reunification and does have quite a bit to offer...

Anselm Reyle's Skateboard Art
One of Germany's top artists creates limited edition skateboards for a French manufacturer. Reyle often makes art from everyday objects but this time his art is an object many people use for everyday recreational purposes.
