Explosive photos

Michael Dammer is a German photographer and film maker who takes pictures of controlled explosions. So whenever a building is crashing to the ground somewhere in Germany, his cameras are rolling, and the images he gets document the spectacular dynamic of collapse. We accompanied him to a decommissioned coal mine in the Ruhr Valley to watch him cover a coal wash plant about to be blown up.
