Firing up the local economy - Poop-Charcoal in Kenya

In Kenya, human waste is converted into charcoal briquettes used for cooking. The idea may sound disgusting, but it's not. The poop-charcoal is now even firing up the local economy. A kilo of briquettes sells for about 50 US cents.The resulting briquettes have gone through a remarkable transformation.
