Foreign Countries

I have always been excited by cultures that exist far away from my continent. For example, I think about what artistic and artisanal expressive forms have meaning in countries like China, Tibet, Mongolia, Laos, Vietnam or Myanmar.

Another aspect of this that I find fascinating is multiculturalism and how it is prevalent in places like India. Hundreds of languages are spoken in India along with many diverse groups that practice and maintain their rituals. Spirituality is a part of everyday life there and the food is as diverse as the ethnicities of the people.

For me both of these topics are as exotic as they are unknown. I would be very happy to see topics like this covered by My DW and read about them on the website.
