Former prime minister Tony Blair is called to question over his decision to invade Iraq

Former British prime minister Tony Blair is today answering questions before a public inquiry into his government's decision to invade Iraq in 2003. Blair's appearance before the inquiry- which was set up last year to try to learn lessons from the invasion - has been highly anticipated. The former prime minister's decision to send British troops into Iraq alongside US forces was one of the most controversial of his leadership.
