It's a social hot spot with a high immigrant population and very high unemployment. Up to now it has been practically cut off from Paris. The new plans include a metro stop. But the local mayor is skeptical about greater Paris. Prestigious glass fronted buildings would be of little use here. But improvements in infrastructure could have a positive effect on the employment situation.
