French stock broker, Jerome Kerviel, whose rogue trades cost Societe Generale nearly 5- Bbillion Euros goes on trial in Paris today. Kerviel took unauthorized positions on Bbillions of options back in 2008 and forged documents to hide his trades from supervisors. The press has grown to admire him, but bank officials and prosecutors want him behind bars.
