How I discovered DW
I found out about DW in 1996 through a friend at school. He really drew my attention to the listener mail program and told me the radio frequency, broadcast times and schedules. Soon after, we started a listener club in Sokodé. We would organize competitions with clubs from other radio stations and see who knew the most about current events.

My oldest memory with DW
In 1996 my letter was read during a broadcast. You wouldn’t believe how happy I was to hear my name put on the air from an international radio station! That same year I got mail from DW for the first time complete with a sticker, a button, and a pen with the DW logo on it.

My best experience with DW
An unforgettable experience was when we won the Learning by Ear contest and got to take part in a theater workshop. We rehearsed really intensively and the performance was a complete success. I’d like to thank the team from Learning by Ear, the Togolese director Luc Alanda, and all the members of the "A nous la planète" club, Ms. Fayiza, and Mr. Charles Adom.

Congratulations on your anniversary and thank you for the 60 years of partnership with the listeners.
