G7 finance ministers wrap up their meeting in Rome where they've been searching for ways to tackle the global recession

Finance ministers from the G7 group of leading industrial nations have been meeting in Rome to try and find ways to pull the global economy out of recession. Many of them are worried that some major economies could slide back into protectionism and economic nationalism. Ways to effectively regulate global financial markets were also on today's agenda, as was the plight of many poorer countries in the developing world.
