German champions Bayern Munich will face second-tier VfL Bochum in the last-eight of the German Cup as they look to win their 18th title. Bochum are sixth in Germany's second-tier and were last relegated from the Bundesliga in 2010. The Ruhrpott side have never won the German Cup, but were beaten finalists in 1968 and 1988.

Elsewhere, last season's defeated finalists Borussia Dortmund will encounter another away match against Bundesliga opposition with a tie at VfB Stuttgart. Dortmund, who will prepare for European action after the winter break, beat Augsburg in the Last 16 2-0. Stuttgart relied on extra-time to defeat Eintracht Braunschweig and are looking to win their first German Cup since 1997.

Hertha Berlin are dreaming of a 'home' final at the Olympic Stadium at the end of the season and Pal Dardai's in-form side have the most favorable draw against Heidenheim who make their debut in the last-eight. Bayer Leverkusen have been drawn to face six-time winners Werder Bremen.

The matches will be played on February 9 and 10, 2016.
