Here in Germany, the government's round table on child abuse has begun its first session. The talks are expected to focus on prevention and support for victims. The forum is being led by three cabinet ministers and brings together representatives from churches and wider society. It will address recent allegations of abuse against Catholic institutions as well as some high-profile secular and protestant schools.
