Armin Himmelrath is a freelance journalist, writer and radio moderator specialized in the topics of (higher) education und science. He studied German language and literature and social sciences in Wuppertal, Germany, and Beersheba, Israel. Currently he is based in Cologne and works for several nationwide magazines and public radio stations in Germany. Himmelrath has also published several books on education and the school and university systems. He also lectures at Freie Universität Berlin and other universities.
