How night-time contact lenses can correct vision

During sleep, special gas-permeable contact lenses exert gentle pressure on the outer layer of cells in the cornea, reshaping its surface. The next morning, the eye has a different refractive value, so that wearers can see clearly during the day without glasses or ordinary contact lenses.
