Idiotentest

An Idiotentest is, contrary to how it may sound, not a test to determine whether or not someone is an idiot. Usually that's obvious enough. Rather, it is the colloquial term for the examination that people have to undergo when they have had their drivers' license revoked after drinking and driving and causing an accident. They have to take the bus or be chauffeured by friends for a while before they can take an official psychological exam and be allowed to drive once again. That is what Germans sometimes refer to as an Idiotentest. Usually, those who have to take it are quick to say, "Man, I was such an idiot!"
