Iditarod mushers begin grueling race in Alaska

The world's most famous sled dog race, the Iditarod, has started in Alaska. Mushers are setting out on a nearly 1,000-mile trek through the wilderness for nine to 15 days. During the race, temperatures can reach -70 C with windchill.
