Europe has been marking the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings that turned the tide of World War II. With the dwindling number of veterans who lived through D-Day now in their 90s and beyond, this week's ceremonies on the Normandy beaches with world leaders is likely the last major commemoration they will attend.
