Japanese industry scandals continue

Mitsubishi Materials has admitted that three of its subsidiaries falsified data on rubber sealing – a key manufacturing component in airplanes, but also nuclear power plants. It joins a list of penitents that includes Kobe Steel, Nissan and Subaru.
