Kevin Volland has extended his contract with Hoffenheim by two years, through to 2019.

Volland, 22, had been heavily linked with a move away from Hoffenheim, but has now committed his future to the club for the next four years.

"My time with TSG [Hoffenheim] is not over yet," Volland told the club's webstie. "I feel comfortable here and am pleased that the tiresome and sometimes absurd speculations, with which I have been confronted recently, are now over."

Volland had been heavily linked with a move away from the Sinsheim based club, with fellow Bundesliga sides Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Mönchengladbach all in line for his signature. English Premier League side Liverpool were also reportedly interested in the winger.

Hoffenheim confirmed the deal with the German international, who has scored 28 goals in 109 games for Hoffenheim since joining from 1860 Munich in 2011, before their 2-1 home win over Hertha Berlin on the final Bundesliga matchday of the season.
