Konaté, Boukary

BOBs Award winner Boukary Konaté is a teacher and blogger from Mali, in western Africa. At his website, "Fasokan", he writes in French and the local language, Bambara, to help promote and preserve Malian culture and languages. One of Konaté's greatest ambitions is to use the Internet for education. He travels to villages to teach people how the Internet works. He says he hopes to "build bridges between the villages and the world so that the rural regions can share their traditions and culture with the rest of the planet".
