Libya declared its liberation on Sunday after 42 years of one-man rule by Muammar Gaddafi. Tens of thousands of people took part in celebrations in Benghazi - the center of the uprising against the former Libyan leader. Gaddafi was killed on Thursday after eight months of armed conflict. The Transitional Council says it will form an interim government within a month.
