Marienburg - Seat of the Guelphs

January 13, 2014

Marienburg Castle in Northern Germany is one of the country's most important neo-Gothic monuments. Until 1965 it was occupied by the Guelf family, Europe's oldest royal dynasty. Today the fairytale castle is a popular tourist destination and houses a museum of period furnishings, paintings and historical art treasures.
