Rachel Stewart is on a mission to investigate the idiosyncrasies of daily life in Germany. Every two weeks she explores a new topic — from beer to nudity to complicated grammar. In this edition she invites her first guest to take the Meet the Germans hotseat in order to find out more about Germany from a new perspective.

Rachel moved from the UK to Germany in 2016. As a relative newcomer she casts a fresh eye over German clichés and shares her experiences of settling into German life. You'll find more from Meet the Germans on YouTube or at dw.com/MeettheGermans.

And don't miss Eddy on DW Africa's 77 Percent YouTube channel.

The 77 Percent is a new TV magazine that gives Africa’s youth a dialogue platform to speak up and be heard on the issues that matter to them. From politics to culture, business to lifestyle – the magazine has its finger on the pulse and takes the discussion to young people on the ground. Through hard-hitting reports, personal stories and lively street debates, this fresh TV format highlights current hot topics from across Africa for viewers around the world.

For the launch of the show, host Eddy Micah Jr. investigates why so many Africans can't afford decent accommodation. In Kenya's biggest slum Kibera Edith Kimani debates the topic with young people.
