Today in Berlin the minister of health is holding a meeting to discuss the now contentious issue of organ donation. The meeting comes in the wake of a scandal in which doctors allegedly manilipulated the organ donor waiting list to insure their patients were on top. Since the scandal broke, the willingness of Germans to donate organs has been on the decline. A recent poll shows nearly half have doubts about donating.
