For more than a decade, I have worked for leading new organizations across Europe, including as a Trainee Writer for Reuters in Paris, a reporter and editor for The Times of London, an on-camera correspondent for Al Jazeera English, and now as a presenter and news anchor for DW.

What do I strive to be as a journalist?
Trusted and truthful. In the social media era there has never been a greater need to seek out facts and verify reports. It’s harder for the public now to trust what they are hearing or reading. I want to help make this easier.
