Musician and rapper Leila Akinyi — aka Miss Akinyi — was born in Kenya but grew up in the German city of Cologne. But for a long time, she felt like a stranger in her new hometown, torn between two cultures. Today, she is proud of her African roots and processes her experiences growing up in her music.
