Astrophysicists have long been trying to determine the origins of the Milky Way. The subject is so large that laboratory experiments are out of the question. So the scientists fall back on math to illustrate their theories. Now, they've successfully simulated the origins of the Milky Way - and with that, indicated that dark matter does exist, even if no one has yet seen it.
