October 30, 2012On 4 November, Arte will show a 52-minute version of the film with the title "Schumann@PIER2 - 3 Schüler 4 Sinfonien". In addition to the work of the orchestra and the concert recordings, it will include the responses of three Bremen school students as they encounter classical music for the first time in the concerts at Pier2.
Unitel Classica, the digital television channel for classical music, will broadcast the concert recordings of the four symphonies on 5 November 2012 in Germany and 19 other countries.
5 November 2012 will also see the release of the DVD Box Set (3 DVDs) and a Blu-ray disc. These are appearing on the well-known C Major Entertainment label. The Schumann discs will include Christian Berger's music documentary and the concert recordings of all four Schumann symphonies.
