More video content for mobile phones
Users of our mobile portal now have access to Deutsche Welle video content that they can watch while on the go.
Selected video content from DW-TV will be made available for mobile phones after broadcast.
The Audio & Video section features all of the reports from the automotive show “drive it!”, the politics show “People and Politics” and the scientific program “Tomorrow Today”, as well as the weekly segment “euromaxx highlights” about lifestyle and culture in Europe. Also available for mobile phones are the segments “The Truth About Germany” and “My…” from the travel show Discover Germany. And “Kick it like…” offers a 90-second look at the lives of soccer fans around the world.
All of the new video content is available in English and German and enhance the already existing Audio & Video section. “Journal Headlines”, the “Video of the Day” and the livestreams for DW-TV and DW-RADIO are also available for use on mobile phones.
To use Deutsche Welle’s mobile video content you will need a handset that is 3G compatible or supported by EDGE or UMTS.
