Moscow Auto Show (27.08.2008) je 08

Ema Nevenka JülichAugust 27, 2008

Welcome Back. The escalating crisis in the Caucasus is overshadowing the start of the Moscow Auto Show. The head of Hyundai's operations in Russia says it expects to sell 200 thousand cars in Russia this year - a third more than last year, but that the Georgian crisis could reduce Russians' appetite for new cars. That would be a great shame for German carmakers... sales are sluggish at home, and Russia is a key market. Demand for new cars in Russia is growing so fast that the country is expected to become Europe's largest car market this year, overtaking Germany.
