Muslims around the world are currently observing the holy month of Ramadan. Most people associate Ramadan with fasting. For thirty days from sun-up to sun-down, Muslims refrain from eating and drinking. Ramadan is also a time of prayer and reflection – and is observed by many of the four million Muslims in Germany.
