Obama - Trudeau: Bromance or just friendly neighbors?

The Canadian prime minister official visit to the US brought together two of the world's most talked about heads of government. But the photos of their time together were much better than many could have imagined.

Throughout the historic visit between newly elected Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and US President Barack Obama, photos of the powerful duo set social media aflutter.

Even before the two shook hands, the hashtag #CanadaVisit was trending in the US and Canada. Many users commented on the connection the two world leaders seemed to share.

So what is the nature of their relationship? Is it strictly professional or is it, as some commentators have suggested, more of a 21-century "bromance?"

Let's take a deeper look.

Are they both youthful, energetic and powerful?

Check. Check.

Do they both know how to handle a baby in a rope line?

Check.

Do they both have intelligent, elegant wives?

Check. Check.
