Passenger plane crashes at Kathmandu airport

A US-Bangla Airlines passenger plane from Bangladesh crashed as it landed at Kathmandu airport in Nepal. Clouds of thick, dark smoke could be seen rising above the hilltop airport, which was immediately shut down.
