Phiri, Marlon

Marlon Phiri is executive director of Reformed Open Community Schools (ROCS), a Zambian non-governmental organization supporting more than 60 community schools in rural Zambia. He is a board member of the Zambia National Education Coalition which unites civil society and education trade unions to work with the Zambian government to achieve universal access to education. Phiri has participated in radio and television advocacy campaigns to promote access to quality education for underprivileged children. He worked as project coordinator of the youth training center of Reformed Churches in Zambia and served as a member of the National Youth Development Council. Phiri is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK and is currently working on his dissertation for an MBA.
