Paul the Octobus has found a worthy successor. It is Citta the Elephant, the Krakow Zoo's largest inhabitant, who will be predicting the winner of the Euro 2012 soccer tournament.

For important matches, Citta will make the winning pick by choosing between two marked apples that represent the two teams. She'll put her abilities to test for all of Poland's matches, and for the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, and the deciding match. She was tapped for the job after correctly predicting the result of the UEFA Champions League final, where she unhesitatingly sniffed out the apple painted in Chelsea colors.
