Business leaders in eastern Germany are looking forward to a brighter future. In July, companies described both the current situation as well as future performance in more positive terms than they did in May, reported the Halle Institute for Economic Research on Monday. The results were based on a survey of 300 companies. The business mood has also improved significantly in comparison to the previous year. Then, 69 percent of firms surveyed said they were looking forward to improved conditions, while this year, that percentage had increased to 73 percent.
