Around the world, women continue to be underrepresented in the tech sector. In South Africa, one initiative - GirlHype - is trying to reverse that trend. Founder Baratang Miya is a social entrepreneur and a feminist who teaches underprivileged girls computer programming. She offers courses in HTML programming at six schools. Her organization is financed by donations and joint ventures with IT companies. GirlHype's goal is to get 100,000 girls interested in careers in IT and natural science by 2020.
