DW called for photo submissions from around the world in connection with the theme of this year's international media congress, "The Future of Growth - Economic Values and the Media". More than 350 pictures based around the 2013 Klick! photo competition theme "Your View of a Sustainable Economy" were submitted from all corners of the globe, especially from Asia. The jury has narrowed the selection down to approximately 100 pictures, from which voters will pick the top ten finalists by May 30, when online voting will end. Votes can be cast at www.dw-gmf.de/klick.

These ten nominations will be on display at the Global Media Forum from June 17 - 19 in Bonn, Germany. The conference participants will choose the photo competition's overall winner. Deutsche Welle expects more than 2,000 participants from around the world to attend the meeting to share their views in some 50 workshops and plenary sessions, which will explore steps towards a sustainable and value-oriented economy.
