Rügenberg, Gottfried

Gottfried Ruegenberg started his career at Ford in 1973. He studied automotive engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne, Germany. Back at Ford in 1980 he worked as a test engineer for transmission testing before he took over the position as Senior Engineer for automatic transmission.
After finishing his studies on automotive engineering (MSc) at Loughborough University in the UK in 1990 he became a trainer and consultant for quality training. In 1993 Ruegenberg took over the position as Managing Director at the Ford Education & Training Association. Since 1997 he has been Manager for Learning and Development at Ford, responsible for engineering, quality, health and safety training and company sponsored university programs in Europe.
