  • If you have been receiving DW English (HD), you don't need to take action.

  • If you have been receiving DW's English SD (standard definition) channel on AsiaSat-7, you will have to perform a channel search with your IRD

Please search for DW's English SD channel with these parameters:
    Satellite:             Asiasat-7 (105,5° East)
    Transponder:     12V
    Frequency:        4.100 MHz
    Polarization:      vertical
    Standard:          DVB-S2

  • Our German channel DW Deutsch will move from AsiaSat-5 to AsiaSat-7

Dishes have to be aligned as follows:
    Satellite:            Asiasat-7 (105,5° East)
    Transponder:    12V
    Frequency:       4.100 MHz
    Polarization:     vertical
    Standard:         DVB-S2

After changing parameters, you will have to start a new channel search on your receiver. Please chose DW Deutsch on the list.

Please, have in mind that on AsiaSat-7,  DW English HD, DW English SD and DW Deutsch are transferred on the same transponder. So make sure you have chosen the desired channel.
