Taking Stock after the Floods

According to preliminary estimates, the flooding in Germany caused about 12 billion euros in damage. The victims of the disaster are slowly assessing their personal losses. 28-year-old Ronny Schulz lives in the small village of Breese in Brandenburg. He and his pregnant wife moved into their newly-renovated house four weeks before the floods. Now it has to be completely refurbished.
