Tax slasher Trump

The US government wants to give a boost to the economy and create new jobs by lowering the tax rate for businesses from 35 to 15 percent. Mnuchin expects the cut to bring economic growth of 3 percent. That could compensate for losses in tax revenue. But analysts are doubtful. Past efforts to slash taxes have often resulted in a larger deficit.
