The 77 Percent: South Africa introduces Kiswahili in schools

South Africa has approved Kiswahili as a language that will be taught in public, private and independent schools across the country. The schools are already offering other foreign languages like French, Mandarin and German but Kiswahili will be the first foreign African language to be taught. Thuso Khumalo went to find out what lies behind the move and what the public think of the decision.
