Every year in Germany, the Christkind, a childlike angel, arrives, and with it, Christmas markets and festive spirits. Germany is known the world over for its Christmas traditions. How well do you know them?

Germans spend weeks getting ready for Christmas. It's the biggest festival of the year. There are about 2,500 Christmas markets where you can find everything typical of a German Christmas: ornaments, bratwurst sausages, hot drinks, romantic lighting.
