The Moselle Bight near Bremm

The Moselle River has many bends and vineyards on each side. One of its most attractive bights winds through the countryside near Bremm.

The best view can be had from the 378 meters high Calmont vineyard. It is Europe’s steepest vineyard. Tourists can watch the vintners hard at work but if you want to climb up to the vineyard you need to be fit and have a good head for heights. The Moselle region is Germany’s oldest wine-growing region.
